Do I need a 3D printer to use Cubie?

No. You can design your toy in the browser and send the STL file to a friend or a print center.

What file format does Cubie export?

Standard STL — works in every slicer software.

How long does it take to create a toy?

Most kids finish a small toy in 5–15 minutes.

Is Cubie safe for kids?

Yes — it's made for kids, with big buttons and no tricky tools. Works on phones and tablets.

Palette & Colors

Cubie works with a fixed palette of colors to ensure your models look consistent, but you can change the active color at any time.

Selecting a Color

Click any swatch in the Left Sidebar Palette. The active color is highlighted.

Applying Colors

When you place a voxel with the Block tool, it uses the currently selected color.

Tip: You cannot "repaint" an existing voxel simply by clicking on it. You can either place a new colored voxel on top of it, or erase it and place a new one.

Why a Fixed Palette?

The palette maps to real filament colors, so the colors you see on screen match what comes off the printer. Assign a color per part, and on export Cubie groups same-colored parts together for easy multi-color printing.
